How do you feel about this comment? “Strong is the new pretty.” I saw this on a book cover today at the store and it’s content filled with images with little girls getting after it. Chances are you are like me, having grown up in a media world where the women that graced magazine covers looked similar to a Barbie doll. The movement women are making now is a delicate one. Actions are towards equality in the workplace and beyond, and standing up against sexual harassment. The media is moving the badass woman to the forefront of headlines.
Women taking a stand makes my heart sing. I see the fear we once had to stand up to men or otherwise decreasing. We still have a long way to come to obtain full equality especially in most countries beyond the USA. Ladies, we are slowly getting it done.
Today and every day, do not forget that you are strong, and pretty. Do not doubt this, ever. I can’t wait to adventure with you all someday soon and I am feeling especially grateful to all my loving fans out there. I am eternally grateful for all you.
