Hiking season is upon us here in Montana. It is time to dust off the backpacks, and head to the trails. Here are a few things to keep in mind when venturing into the wilderness.
Here is why spending time in nature can be healing. If you’re like many people, you spend a large part of your life on your computer, watching TV, and skimming or checking your smartphone, driving in your car, and sitting at your desk looking at a screen. You rarely get out into nature. And while you may realize that this isn’t healthy, you simply don’t have the time or energy to make a change, and besides, it’s important to be ‘connected.’ Many of us lead a balanced and healthy lifestyle but don’t realize just how nature-deprived we really are. READ MORE on how a doctors explains the healing powers of nature.
Put on those boots and go spending some time in nature. Please send me your stories and images of your adventures to be featured on the YARx blog and social media.
Stay safe my friends, am sending you love and health. Diana
