Nestle in for the weekend filled with laughter, camping in a retro VW and freedom from worries. Let Your Adventure Rx  take care of you while we adventure together. We will spend the weekend on Bainbridge Island and be part of an incredibly diverse and inclusive community out on the Olympic Peninsula.

Relaxation, casual networking, holistic leadership skill building and fun are the main components to this trip. Have you ever dreamed about van life or wanted to give it try? The best part of this trip is that we are free from tents and have the use of the van for shelter and sleeping. You can live like a true hippie from the 70’s.

Our relaxed pace of the retreat also provides a great chance to step back from day-to-day problem solving so that you can think about larger goals and have more breakthrough moments. This trip is a gathering of executive sisters that blends between a vacation and a small conference. This is not the stereotypical conference or retreat where there is a gathering of a few hundred people that participate in exercises that can feel awkward and painfully forced. You will be surrounded by people whose interests overlap with yours but without the formality of a presentation or conference agenda.

About the vans:
Campers are equipped with the familiar ″Westy″ pop-top, propane stove, refrigerator (or portable cooler), sink, fold-down bench/bunk, and can sleep 4 but will only have 2 ladies per vehicle. Vanagons are mellow machines that can inspire a laid back, free-spirited vibe, feelings of wellbeing, and Zen-like joy – if you open yourself to the possibilities and are willing to slow down just a touch. These lovingly well maintained vehicles are 25-plus years old, and compared to modern vehicles, have small, lower power (environment-friendly) engines. Westy vans are perfect and ready to help you relax, downshift and enjoy the ride.

About Bainbridge Island:
A small town that offers big things – acres of parks, a variety of trailheads, fascinating historical sites and dozens of attractions. Bainbridge Island’s charm, natural beauty, rural character and central location in the heart of Puget Sound make it a great place to live, work and play…for a day, a week or a lifetime! With Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountain Range to the east, the Olympic Peninsula, backed by the Olympic Mountains to the west, and Mount Rainier looming to the southeast, Bainbridge Island features picture-perfect views and abundant recreational opportunities year-round. The island is now home to seven artisan wineries, a brewery and an organic distillery. The vibrant village of Winslow, just a short walk from the ferry, features a number of restaurants and one-of-a-kind shops and a waterfront park.  http://visitbainbridge.com/
